Morrison Utility Services has a vast amount of experience in the application of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations, gained through the successful transfer of employees both into and out of the company, from clients (primary) and other contractors (secondary) in the utility industry.
In the last ten years, Morrison Utility Services has transferred over 2000 staff into the company under TUPE and has transferred out in excess of 400. Major transfers are shown below. Some of these transfers have taken place as a result of partnership and alliance arrangements with clients and other contractors, as well as contract transfers.
We are experienced in managing the transition process and the incorporation of TUPE transferees as long-term employees of the Utility Services business. Our overriding objective is to ensure that our client experiences a seamless service with regard to the transfer of a contract and the work undertaken.
