MGJV - Water and Wastewater Networks Capital Works

SCOPE: The Morrison Galliford Joint Venture (MGJV  contract includes the renewal, rehabilitation, upgrade and enhancement of water supply mains and sewer networks across South London and surrounding areas. 

The agreement, for a five-year period, aligns with Thames Water’s £1.2 billion commitment to improve and maintain their infrastructure across London and the Thames Valley. As a major part of this scheme. 

MGJV teams operate across the South London region and undertakes; design, modelling, project and programme management; water mains replacement including service pipe renewals and meter installations; trunk mains replacement, leakage repairs and installing monitoring equipment; pressure management and district meter installations; customer side leakage detection; pipe bridge maintenance and repairs; reservoir repairs; sewer CCTV surveys, cleaning and rehabilitation; sewer pipeline replacement and repairs; hydraulic flood alleviation schemes; pumping station installation, upgrades and repairs; Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) upgrade; Flooding Local Improvement Projects (FLIPS) – sewer flooding protection; pressure and flow data collection and network validation; geo-spatial survey and asset mapping.
