Scope of Delivery

The objective of the current contract is to achieve Wales & West Utilities GD1-RIIO regulatory mains replacement programme of circa 3,500km pipes (420km per year) and to complete 40,000 customer gas connections.

Scope of work for the contract includes:

• Gas mains and service replacement

• Gas diversions

• Gas reinforcement

• Gas governors

• Reinstatement

• Special projects and complex works

• Resource

• Over 1,000 km of pipes replaced since 2013

• 440km per year of mains to be replaced

• Joint apprentice scheme being introduced in 2018 - apprentices will be jointly funded
