Delivering what we promise

Innovation is a large part of our culture, our people are encouraged to challenge the accepted way and to speak out when they see untapped possibilities. This ethos allows our experienced Innovation and Intelligent Solutions team to develop new innovative solutions no matter how large or small. All innovation projects are managed by our dedicated team from inception to client delivery and beyond, ensuring solutions are adapted through time.

Our extensive innovation portfolio not only benefits our clients through cost reduction, efficiency and risk reduction but also benefits our people by providing safer work environments that create a better customer experience and improve infrastructure resilience. We pride ourselves on the innovative solutions we have developed and enjoy looking for new ways in which we can challenge the status-quo to provide a more streamlined process for our people, our clients and their customers.

Due to the multi-faceted nature of our services, our innovations are selected to create value in one or more of the following priorities:

Customer Experience Client targets and Challenges
Operational Excellence External Stakeholders
Cost Reduction Risk Reduction
Safety Health & Wellbeing
Efficiency Regulatory Change
Differentiation Environment

Our Intelligent Solutions team works to evaluate if/where the latest technology can be implemented to deliver suitable solutions. The Intelligent Solutions team then effectively project manages the delivery of each solution with the client.

The Applied Innovation Model (AIM) is Morrison Utility Services’ fresh approach to innovation.

AIM focuses on the implementation of innovation to address real operational and commercial issues, and turn these into business as usual processes.  AIM replaces the previous Morrison Utility Services innovation programme i2i.

AIM captures the opportunities and challenges we face every day, fosters collaboration and shares appropriate solutions.  This approach can be replicated and integrated into working practices across our business.

Innovation can come from any area of the business and can include improving equipment, new ways of working or anything that improves daily processes.
