Innovation represents an important area of investment. Identifying and implementing new ideas leads to further improvements in our business as we look to address the rapidly evolving needs of our clients.
We face increasing challenges to reduce the time our operations take, not just our own effi ciency, but also to minimise disruption to the public. We work with Operational and Commercial staff on each of our contracts to identify opportunities for process and/or system improvements. Such improvements include:
• Client needs
• Improve operational efficiency of the contract
• Enhance customer service
• Deliver quality or safety improvements
Our BPi, IT and Innovation teams work to evaluate if/where the latest technology can be implemented to deliver suitable solutions. The BPi Team then effectively project manage the delivery of each solution with the client.
Whilst we look to the wider market for new innovations and improvements in practice and process, we also encourage our most valuable resource - our people, to provide the innovative ideas that can positively influence our business. Our Innovate to Improve (i2i) programme is designed to encourage staff to promote ideas and innovations that can support us to achieve business targets.
