We are delighted to announce Morrison Utility Services has been shortlisted for two prestigious Recruitment Marketing Awards for our ongoing commitment to our people.
The first shortlisting is within the Video (£5,000 and under) category. A video produced by the Group Marketing Communications team highlighted Richard’s Story, a video detailing Training and Compliance Manager Richard Nelson’s journey to improved physical fitness and better overall Health & Wellbeing.
In addition, a second shortlisting has been received by HR Director Colin Jellicoe, within the coveted HR Professional of the Year category.
Launched in 1980, The Recruitment Marketing Awards recognise excellence and professionalism in recruitment marketing and talent management. The shortlist was created by judges who are senior industry experts from recruitment, talent management, digital and creative backgrounds.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Wednesday 30 October at The Brewery in London.
"Our people are our greatest asset and one of our key objectives is to create a sustainable workforce for Morrison Utility Services and the utilities sector as a whole. It’s fantastic to have been recognised for the work that is going in to supporting our people and harnessing a culture that allows everyone to develop, but also creates an environment that entices people to want to work for us." Trevor M Hoyle, Managing Director - Utilities Division
"Clearly encompassing two of our business values – People and Health, Wellbeing & Safety – the video has led to considerable success as part of our attraction strategy, particularly from Richard’s ex-services colleagues. Recruitment from those with services background now contributes to more than 10% of our recruitment each month. It is also an honour to have been recognised as part of the HR Professional of the Year category." Colin Jellicoe, HR Director
"As the Recruitment Marketing Awards are focused on recognising excellence in recruitment marketing and talent management, it is great to see that Richard’s story has gained external recognition. The video shows those who are looking to join the utilities sector how we place importance on the Health & Wellbeing of our people." Kirsty Crouch, Group Head of Marketing Communications
