Morrison Utility Services has been awarded the RoSPA Order of Distinction (15 consecutive golds).
The company was presented with the award during a ceremony in Birmingham on July 14, 2016, as the event marked its diamond anniversary.
Through the scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Head of Awards, said: “To win an award at such a highly-regarded event as the RoSPA Awards is a great achievement for Morrison Utility Services. It recognises its commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to. We offer them our congratulations.”
Morrison Utility Services Chief Executive Charles Morrison comments: “To achieve the Order of Distinction for sustaining RoSPA’s gold level standards over fifteen consecutive years is testament to our company-wide commitment to achieving zero harm. Safety will always be our number one priority and our aim moving forward is to continue to deliver exceptional occupational health and safety performance across our organisation and on behalf of our clients.”
