Morrison Utility Services has been awarded a prestigious partner award by client, Northern Powergrid, for its ‘Significant Contribution towards Safety Performance’ in 2013.
The award was presented at the annual Northern Powergrid safety conference in recognition of Morrison Utility Services’ achievement of 1.5 million working hours without incurring an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recordable accident.
Geoff Earl, Director of Safety, Health and Environment, Northern Powergrid, comments: “It was a pleasure to recognise the outstanding safety contribution made by Morrison Utility Services at our annual safety conference. As an award winner, Morrison Utility Services should feel rightly proud of its achievement of 1.5 million working hours without incurring an OSHA recordable accident. We look forward to more of the same for 2014.”
Ged Shannon, Executive Director, Morrison Utility Services, comments: “On behalf of everyone on the Northern Powergrid contract team, I would like to say we are delighted to receive this recognition for our health and safety performance over the past 12 months. Health and safety is our number one priority – our licence to operate and everyone on the team should be very proud of this accolade.”
