We are delighted to have been shortlisted for two 2015 Water Industry Achievement Awards in recognition of our long-running safety awareness initiative which delivers important safety messages to a key, high-risk audience - primary school age children.
The company has been shortlisted in the Community Project of the Year and Health & Safety Initiative of the Year categories. The shortlistings follow the launch of the latest MUS school safety engagement campaign, Jack’s New Bike, which centres on the theme of cycle safety in and around utility construction street works.
With animation as the chosen starting point, the programme also incorporates accompanied site visits and classroom activity, with supporting teaching materials provided to participating schools to reinforce the programme’s key messages.
Organised by leading industry publications WET News and Water & Wastewater Treatment, the Water Industry Achievement Awards celebrate and reward outstanding innovation in the UK water industry. This year’s awards will take place on Tuesday April 21st, 2015 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
