Three M Group Services businesses had cause to celebrate at the 2017 Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health & Safety Awards in Birmingham on July 12, 2017.
Morrison Utility Services
Morrison Utility Services, the UK’s largest, dedicated, independent utility service provider, was recognised for its commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention in the workplace with the RoSPA Industry Sector Award.
Morrison Utility Services Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Director, Paul Kerridge comments: “Over the past 12 months we have launched a number of major safety initiatives that have been designed and developed to drive and deliver outstanding health and safety values, practices and performance across our organisation and on behalf of our clients. Safety continues to be the number one priority for Morrison Utility Services and we are delighted to receive this recognition from RoSPA. Moving forward, we fully recognise that there can be no room for complacency and our aim is to build on the progress that we continue to make in the area of health and wellbeing.”
Dyer & Butler
Dyer & Butler, a specialist engineering service provider to transport infrastructure asset owners including airports, underground, rail and highways, was presented with the President’s Award for its 12th consecutive RoSPA Gold Award. Gold Medals were also presented to Dyer & Butler’s rail division and Dyer & Butler Electrical Ltd. Neil Edwards, Managing Director of Dyer & Butler, commented: “The award of our third RoSPA Presidents Award, which follows 12 consecutive gold awards, together with our lowest ever AFR rate and the increased volume of close calls, is testament to the commitment of all of our employees to remain safe by choice … not by chance.”
